Thread: Please comment on the benefits of managing the cormorant problem...

    As an FYI... I've dealt with the gubmint before on regulations.. I was one of a handful of people who met with the state and successfully "lobbied" to have our antlerless deer season reduced. If we want this problem to be fixed, IMO, don't talk to them about how many crappie they may eat. There is no shortage of crappie. That is not going to change their mind. Much more mileage will be gained if people focus their comments on erosion caused loss of trees because of their concentrated droppings and the general health hazzard and stench from their droppings. This is only my opinion, but I think it's the right way to approach it.
