It's sad when anything happens that causes loss of life. Whether the loss is cause by extremists, by mistakes of men or by acts of nature.

A fire can block exit from the dock from the point where it starts and can quickly spread to the rest of the dock. I heard on the radio that most of the boats on the dock were houseboats. I wonder how many of them had working engines.
