Prayer request for SeaRay
Please pray for SeaRay as he has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and another unknown mass on his liver which still has to be subjected to a biopsy before a course of treatment can be started. Ray will appreciate your prayers and I encourage those of you who attend church to take it to your congregations and add Ray to your prayer lists.
Lord as a body of believers we lift Ray up to you in prayer for comfort and healing in this difficult time. We ask that you touch him with mercy to ease his pain and ease the worries that he and his family have. May you touch them with your loving hands and wrap your arms around them. Lord we pray for the medical professionals who are handling his care for they have a gift of mercy given to us by you our creator.
Lord touch the hearts of those those who read this thread that they may be touched to keep Ray and his family in prayer and have the boldness to take prayer requests to you always and to others for we know there is strength in numbers and you are in the business of answering prayers.
From the book of James 5 Verses 13-16 it says.
13: Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any among you merry? Let him sing Psalms.
14: Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him; anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the lord shall rise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16: Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that he may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
All theses things we pray in your precious holy name.
