    Default Seat question

If you were putting 2 seats on the front on an aluminum deck Alumaweld boat, would you be better off with 2 seat bases side by side OR a double seat mount? Your opinions wanted. Thanks guys.

Double seat mount may be a little more sturdy being that the original seat base is reinforced

I’d go 2 new bases and reinforce from underneath if I could. If not I’d make a couple of reinforcing plates and mont on top of deck then the bases.

Two bases all the way but make sure they are supported as everyone has said.
