    Default Issue with wLure

As many of you know, I've been buying cranks and blank lures from wLure for years. I got a sale email a couple of days ago. There was a c55 listed at $1.20 EACH. It was a good color and I can't paint them for that so I put 10 in my cart. When I went to pay, the price was $1.50 each. I tried several times to buy 10 at $1.20 but right in front of my eyes the price would change from $1.20 to $1.50. I didn't see any notice where I could only buy X amount at the $1.20 price. I'm not into playing games with my $$ so I cancelled the order. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Guess what, many online vendors do the same thing! I've had this happen to me with Amazon.com even. Checking the price on an item I want and not ordering it until later in the day, or the next day, and the price jumps up - at check out. If I don't buy it for a week or so and check back on it, the price drops again.

Not quite the same thing as what you're experiencing, but similar. If they know you want it, they'll kick up the price at check out. Can't do that at a retail store. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer of those of the kind of retailers that deal with sporting goods these days. Maybe you should try to contact them by phone and/or email to find out what's going on?

$1.50 still not a bad price but I am like you. When I go to buy something. I like to pay what is marked and not wonder what they will charge me at check out. I have problems all the time at grocery stores with the prices higher at the cash register than what was on the shelf labels.
