Seem's like complicated is the only way that works for anything anymore. I'm coming 74yrs and when I was a kid, we'd grab a fishing rod with some kind of unknown line on it in some unknown test, a can of worms and go catch fish. Today I need to know what kind of rod I have, what reel and must know line manufacturer and test. Worms just don't work anymore, today I need the latest in lure's presented right to fish found on my fish finder. Of course it goes without saying that old wooden row boat from the 40's and 50's will limit me hugely! Good fishing boat should start at about 20K!

I wonder if a crappie would bite on a piece of worm? Shoot they hit hooks wrapped with a pipe cleaner! And how about those catfish? They eat hotdog's and kool aide!

Several years ago a group of fishermen took a dare of catching a crappie on a jig of choice but the body was a piece of red yarn 4 inches long . Tie it /cut it however you please . Everybody caught a fish day one . Get's back to it's what "we " like , not the fish .
