Default Using a heavier leader for a slower sink rate

Just wondering, if y'all think of a 2 foot 12# mono leader would make a 1/32 oz jig fall slower than say a 6# fluoro leader ? I say this, because maybe one could use a thicker leader and heavier jig for distance, but still get the benefits of a slow fall that lighter jig would give.

Personally, I don't think the fall rate would be noticeably slower. (just my opinion)

    Have to agree.
Use a small diameter line - IE braid - in order to get the best lure action on the drop which will be slow using the 1/32 oz jig.
Lure weight comes into it - the heavier the plastic and the larger the lure, the faster it drops.

I use "me" to control the fall rate.... It's best to stay in contact with your jig...... In my opinion!
