    Best idea I’ve seen yet. Just make sure the clip is strong enough so the kayak doesn’t float away from you.

    Thanks. I think the more folks see accidents like this, the more they will practice safety. Let me know what you find out about the DIY kill switch.

    Superdave... only thing I recommend is keep your phone in something dry. If it gets wet and quits working it is no good to you.

    So glad you didn't witness the opposite ending... Will say a prayer for the gentleman's full recovery ... Thanks for sharing. We become complacent with things like safety when we have no problems....
