    My count will only include harvested fish.....I have no clue what it has been..... but I'll bet it's over a thousand a year..... They sure are tasty.....
    And for those of you who may frown at that be for sure that removing a lot of CRAPPIE from a water body is in almost every case a good thing and will increase the size quality of the fishery....

    I am sadly at an all time low myself on ketchn crappie , but the largest part of it is due to not getting my jig wet often enough .

    I haven’t been fishing yet this year. Put my boat away first weekend of December and haven’t been out since then. Waiting on ice to form but with 40 and 50 degree temps forecast this week, that won’t happen. Still I wait.

    The weather has warmed up in the last 5 days. The crappie bite is hot. I've caught 60+ in the last two days. Over 100 for the year. Best winter I've had in a while.
