That gewber on the left watches over me along with many other friends as I sit at my desk. As you can see on the picture below besides the current calendar, at the upper right is a stack of past ones. Right below them is an old man watching, he was given to me by another CDC member Ferdi at a Toledo Bend gathering. That was the last we saw of him and his wife Connie. To the left of the stack of calendars is a stack of “memory lane” pictures from past trips and events. The top picture is of Linda showing our catch of 35 slabs, 99 bluegills, and one redfish. Top left is a Coke calendar with all months from 1935. I’m in good company as I sit at my desk, and there are others on other walls.

It's okay, I got a nicer gift than a screwdriver for Christmas. I think it very well could be a one of a kind. If the weather and my health would cooperate I might be able to post some pictures.

And to think, I never even received one Christmas card from any of y'all. I'll have to get a bucket of coal for next year to include in orders.

Kinda kidding, thank you all for your orders. That's my present, that and y'alls participation and friendship here.

PawPaw Gene did send me a wonderful, hand made pen. Thanks Gene.
