Default Charcoal in the stocking you say ?

I am sure some deserve it , you know the ones on the old naughty list . I think I am ok as I don't recall anything naughty this year . I been friendly with my rooster and that isn't always easy you know .
I even put together the all terrain radio flyer red cargo wagon all by myself without any bad words too . Only a mere 2 hours of my life to make some little boy about ridiculous happy is a trade I am ok with .
Then there was the out at the ranch filling a 5 gallon bucket up with pecans to give away at Christmas that didn't want to fall and my more than half monkey wife that can out climb me by a mile shaking them out of it . I of course was in the tree at some points as well and it wasn't a disaster and I didn't say bad words even when limbs and twigs abused my facial area .
Of course I was a tiny bit naughty for making the Christmas nachos a bit on the spicy side ,but I got a kitchen pass on them when we consumed them and was told they were not to terribly on fire .
And then finally I got ketch a few crappie and I mean just a few , not much time and they didn't want to cooperate , I considered them to be on the naughty list for the lack of cooperation and I put a Charcoal colored jig right in them open wide stockings mouths because they wouldn't hardly give the time of day with a beautiful hand tie !
And in the end Marry Christmas to all .
p.s. NOT all pecans are created equal so during this Christmas season lets remember that and be kind if we can when its most needed .

Merry Christmas Ketchn! Sounds like you might get something under the tree after all. Need to find a long bamboo pole and smack the pecans out if tree. Much safer then climbing and jumping on the limbs. Pretty jigs.

Nice story. Brought back memories of me climbing the pecan trees in my parent's front yard to shake them down. We usually did that on Christmas when my older siblings were home for Christmas.

That was a nice photo and memory. I just dug out some of my own - some I had forgotten about. ‘‘Tis the season to remember back...
