Default DEEPLY HOOKED FISH RECOVERY METHOD

Sometimes when crappie are really on the feed bag they will take a jig extra deep in the throat .
Sometimes this in turn causes a sever blood loss on this fish and that in turn is hard to recover from for a fish .
When ones does this, the very best fish recovery method I have found is an eye for an eye type of technique .
You swallowed my jig and in turn I will swallow you
and YES KABOOM is the word

They can be a devil to reverse out and avoid a fatality. Your solution is probably the best.

Agree, but the problem is when you have an undersized fish on a lake with a length limit.

No sense throwing it back to die when I can be used. I see some of these local bass tournaments turn out fish and see them floating up and dying around the lauch where they weighed it. It is really a waste
