Default Your opinions: Huckabee vs Bonehead heavy jigging rods

Alright, ya'll. I've looked at both of these and they both seem awesome. I would say the Bonehead had a slightly faster action but can't tell much of a difference. Does anyone have any opinions on which is better and why or is it basically if I like orange or green better???

I never used a Huckabee rod but I was instrumental in the design of some of the original Bonehead rods before anyone even had a clue .
I still have several black prototypes and the 7 one pc. is about FAST and will jerk a whale out of the water in a heart beat .
The 2 pc. 8 is very similar to the 7 and if they are still like what we designed and you want a light fast rod with backbone them are nice .
I have heard good things about the Huckabee rods but unless they send me one to test I aint got a clue on them .
Because you see in the end I aint likely to drop a hundred or more on a rod no matter who makes it or how great it is supposed to be .
There are lots of great rods that cost WAY less than a c note and I am somewhat of a penny pincher on tackle

I'm sure both are awesome rods, really can't go wrong with either one if your into single pole power fishing. I use the Huckabee rods and really like them, espically using them with Bone head baits. The Bone head 12' rods were not available when I got my Huckabee's.I would proably choose the Huckabee rod over the Bone head due to handle design. I prefer the solid handle on the Huckabee over the poodle tail design of the Bonehead,

Wish either made a 12 ft. med.action with a cork handle . Regardless of weather it is a mid or rear seat I will buy .

my original prototypes are cork handles , I haven't held the new version or the Huckabee rod myself .
I do know them cork handle prototypes are bad to the bone crappie rods though .
I was commissioned to try to break them and to be sure I gave them the worst possible treatment you can imagine .
I did break one when a spare tire fell on it , but that was the only one I broke out of 5 of them in 6 to 8 foot rod lengths .
bonehead changed owners since I helped them and I don't know much about them anymore .
the foam handle rods just don't feel right to me as a rule so I don't own many of them .

If there are good cheaper options for a 10' rod with that much backbone and power, please do tell.

That was a concern that I had but not a big one since I'll only have one hand on the rod. Seems like the Huckabee's sit a touch better against my forearm due to the thicker handle though.
