Showing off my new Podunk Ideas Livescope and HB Mega daDucer Apparatus AND Cornfield Crappie Gear double base and mount. I needed the daDucer so it could be slid back when clients are in the seats. I took a 3’ section of Excel gunnel rail and Rickie milled it to fit. Now if I’m in the right seat, I can move the Livescope and soon to be Mega360 or move it back 3’ for clients.

Both items are representative products from Master craftsmen and Sponsors here. I couldn’t be happier!

This is still subject to tweaking but the RAM mount will be adjusted where the Mega SI transducer won’t be hitting the gunnel. My boat is a mess and long story about the cowling on the Suzuki being off. More on that later.

The swivel mount allows me to go off the angled part of the bow like normal or off the side. Rickie did an amazing job on it.

PS: the Etrac in Doug’s pix are Excel boats proprietary boat track system and not part of da’ducer apparatus® swivel quick detach mount ... I just modified the swivel mount to work in Doug’s Etrac ... (see Excel Boats website for their Etrac products) ...

The base on the newer design could work very well with a swivel and quick release mount used for downriggers.

If you don't have or need a track, the 4"square mounting area required on quick release would allow users more mounting options.

Simply pull a spring loaded pin to swivel unit out away from boat and a second spring loaded pin to pull and remove the entire mount and unit.

So many unique mounting possibilities with this design.
