Healing Prayers Requested

All,

I am asking for some healing prayers. Last week I had surgery on my right arm to hopefully alleviate pain in my wrist and hand and address the loss of sensation in my fingers.

The surgery was to last two hours and be relatively “easy”. It took a little over 5 hours to complete all the procedures. Turns out the damage was very extensive and in my surgeons words “worst wrist damage he has ever seen”.

He transposed the ulnar nerve from the underside of my elbow to an intra-muscular sheath in top, he shortened the ulnar bone performed a bone graft and put in a plate with 12 screws. He decompressed 2 nerves in the palm to help my carpal tunnel. My wrist has zero cartilage left in most of it so he did a microfracture to try to stimulate growth and he tried to repair a TFCC tear.

In recovery they couldn’t get my pain under control my pain so I was admitted for 24 hours. After 3 nerve blocks it was controlled so we came home. It has been rough sleeping and the pain medication has run out but Tylenol is helping a lot.

I am thankful my wife is helping with the daily tasks of bathing, eating etc. I see the doctor next week for removal of the surgical dressings and a cast on my arm. He also found a large dark red blood filled mass in my wrist which has him puzzled. He drew blood for testing which didn’t show Rheumatoid Arthritis but he wouldn’t say what else he was testing for but will let us know when all tests return.

Just need some continued healing prayers please.
