Default Hummingbird Helix 10 Mega SI vs Garmin ECHOMAP Plus 93sv w/GT52HW

I have fished ponds my entire life. I知 new to lake fishing. I知 looking to target crappie year-round. Looking for recommendations on electronics. Hummingbird Helix 10 with Mega SI or Garmin ECHOMAP Plus 93 (combo) with LiveScope? I know I知 going to have a learning curve.
    Thanks

Personally, I'd go with the Livescope setup ... but you might want to check this out first : Livescope Bundle - Gamin Livescope LVS32 and 93SV Chartplotter

Then give Brian@BBGmarine a call & see if he can beat that price. (You can find Brian's contact info in the Member Sponsor Classifieds Forum)

I agree. The Helix will have better side/down imaging but if simply locating crappie Live Scope is the way to go. The above link is a great deal on the combo. I also agree with calling Brian. He is very knowledgeable and provides top notch customer service and can match most deals.

I dont know if you have bought your bundle yet but I got mine from Russell Marine. He price matched the 93SV with BPS price @ $599. Saved $400 in the end

I'd check with Brian@BBGmarine, first, before saying that .... he's been known to have lower prices than many online outlets.
