Read my post in the fishing electronics section of the forum.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

I believe the pvc pole would work best on my Lund deep vee but I don’t have the skill to build it. Would anyone like to build one for me? I’ll pay for everything including labor and shipping. Pm me if you’re interested in doing it.

I have another da’ducer apparatus® model (just recently released) we can modify for this idea chaunc if we can’t get my articulating da’ducer apparatus® rotatable shaft model to work for your Lund application ...

da’ducer apparatus® fixed mount rotatable shaft model could easily be used with a Ram mount or other quick type holding clamp ...

Could the quick detachable mount for the da ducer be modified to thumb screws by chance? ... looks like what I'm looking for, but can't have those bolts sticking up on the deck when not using that... would be a cast net catastrophe or pinky toe issue

Yessir I can build the quick detach bracket so there’s nothing left on the boat but a plate with threaded holes (for studded thumbscrews) ...

The only reason the current quick detach bracket has the threaded studs in the base plate is to help the user easily align da’ducer apparatus® when removing/replacing da’ducer apparatus® to the quick detach bracket (it’s kinda awkward with xducers attached and cables dangling) ...

Contact me by PM or thru the contact page on my website (link in my sig) ...

It's within arms reach and works like a champ for me. I lay it down along the grab rail and it's secured with the two ram mounts when I'm on the go. When I get to my location I just disconnect one of the ram mounts and swing it down into the water. I may never replace what I currently have.
