    Default Cold weather clothing?

What do you guys wear for cold weather fishing? I use to deer hunt and have some extremely warm clothing, but none of it is windproof. I wear a jacket fishing that was so warm that I could only wear it a handful of times per year while deer hunting. It just does little good when running with the motor.

I know I'm going to get lots of 100 and 200 mph suit suggestions, but would like info on other companies. I've read that the BPS warranty isn't honored often on the suits.

I'd prefer something with a liner in the jacket that can be removed in warmer weather.

I have a set of Artic Armor, bibs and parka...wind proof, water proof...very warm.....it will also float you if you fall in. Its what a lot of the guys way up north wear ice fishing. Lee had a contest about 6 years ago and i won and that was the prize. He has a set too so talk to Lee about them.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Ok thanks. I remember looking at float suits a year or so ago and I'm gonna go ahead and bite the bullet and get something warmer than what I have.

I have a Cabelas advanced angler jacket that has some insulation and a pair of Pro Qualifier bibs. Long johns under the bibs and heavy shirt under jacket. Both are super wind prof. Only gear I have ever stayed warm in. I bought mine used but like brand new off eBay. If I was buying new the pro qualifier is what I would buy. Cheaper but much more versatile than the 100 mph. Way more storage and not 2 cents worth of difference. That new 200 is not near as good from a lot of the reviews I have read. Lighter, not near as wind proof and consensus seemed to be that it runs much smaller than sizing says. That suit G has is the cats meow if your fishing in really cold weather. What I like about the pro qualifier is you can layer and it doesn’t take much then when it’s just chillie out it’s still good because of how wind prof it is.

Arctic Armor, warmest, lightest and they float you if you go for a drink. Can't go wrong. Got mine at Profishingsupply.com 8 or so years ago and will buy another pair when these need replaced.

Well, I have a 100 from Bps, been wearing it for 4 years in 26-34 degree weather, wind 5-10. i wear a pair of insulated pants and shirt, with a light sweater and running warm up pants, thats it. I will not change from my 100 BPS. Goretex, windproof and 100% waterproof. Why wear imposters!

    How cold?

Next Friday I’ll be buying a Striker Hard Water suit like my friend Pat (left) is wearing. They will be on sale for around $350.00

I’ve worn a Set of bibs and coat for years that has been okay as long as I layer up in very cold conditions. Cabelas guide series bought probably 20 years ago for around $200.00
