    Default Southern Crappie rod

I think I want to get a couple of the Southern Crappie 9' light action rods. They would be used for drifting a 1/16 jig with a 3/8 oz. weight. The description says it's rated at 1/16. Do you think this would put too much bend in the tip? Some bend is ok as long as I could see the bite.

Email Ed and ask him. Nice guy. He responds pretty quick usually.

Ed is a great guy, I recently won a rod of his that the tip had been cracked. I sent a email on a weekend and he responded right back, told me he would ship out a replacement right away and he did!
I was so impressed with him, I bought a second rod.......after all you have to have matched sets right?

I use my 8 and 10 ft rods for everything. They’re great. And he runs a great biz over there.
