    Look up "C&M Guide Service" on YouTube. These guys are sponsored by a company (Pautzke Bait) that makes the dye. It works for them

    Yea that’s where I got the idea. You can get regular food coloring and do the same thing. Was wanting info from someone not trying to sell something.

    It is a mess. I figure a crappie will hit about anything. I am a vanilla man so I stick with same old same old live minnow if using them.

    I watched the same youtube video I think. Seems like more trouble than it's worth. I know it's not the most effective, but I'm sticking to my single jig pole. 1/8 or 1/16 oz jig heads with my go-to jig. I just need enough to fill the fryer ever so often.

    I got a bottle on sale one time and tried to use it to color jigs …..my bad
    wont stick on plastics for sure
    sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
