Here's my favorite reel hands down. It's a Meek No. 4 by the Horton Company. The steel rod is a Betts and Boddeus Smooth Caster. This hangs on the wall next to a largemouth bass just shy of 7 lbs. I was out playing with this rod and reel to see how to cast it. Came home with the bass Old fish'ih stuff

I had a show box that was 16”X24” and it was full enough that anything new would have to be put on top of something else. It was fun gathering it up but no one really shared my interest. Sold it at auction one night, did ok for what I had. Had some bombers still in the box w/paperwork, pikie’s, creek chub and many others.

This is all I have, found it in the trash back in the early 90s when I drove a trash truck to pay the bills

    I have a 1946 Hurd Supercaster, its a 1 piece rod/reel combo.
I never used it myself - appears to have very old if not original line on it.

I also have a Lowrance fish Lo-K-Tor, not sure what year? It's a little green box & it still seems to work.

You guys have me wanting to dig it all up & do something with it now.
