Nothing like a ziploc bag for keeping stuff together
They run around 5 cents all the way up to say 20 or 25 cents .
now mind you the cheaper ones are real small and the high dollar ones will get heavy .
my good bud says he prefers snack bag size
I like sandwich bag size myself
but I will go quart size if its an extended visit to the water
as far as storage ,that's the only time I go up to gallon size and they stay in the back seat with all the other VERY unorganized outdoor stuff I carry back there
a zip lock bag with a few jig head sizes and a sprinkle of plastics and handties should be from what I can tell all one needs to lay hammer down .
IF it gets more complicated than that you are likely needing to move locations to more angler friendly fish
keep it simple , pack light and focus on ketchn fish ….
if you have to worry about where to put your tackle bag or where you last put your tackle bag its distracting
distracted crappie anglers ketch less crappie for sure .
put it in your pocket and forget it and get jiggy
p.s. sometimes I pack 3 or 4 quill floats in my pocket as well
there is a method to my madness my friends
and in the end KABOOM is the word
sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
A great solution for the man on the go. Kaboom indeed!

K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid)! LOL! Great notion. Take along a few known producers in a small container and focus on finding and catching fish. Doesn't get much better than that. Thanks!
I usually take way too much stuff each time out. And I'm always adding.....not subtracting. I need to focus on that in 2020.

Ziplock bags, the fisherman’s Duct Tape!
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I do this same thing, get lots of funny looks from the woman when we are out somewhere and i pull the bag of baits out of my pocket and look at them, i also use an old dip can for jig heads.

A few years ago at Wally World they had diaper bags on clearance. I bought 4. One I use for ice fishing. One for crappies and another for walleyes, and the last one for use I the duck blind. The were originally $28 and were on sale for $5. They have pockets for everything you need. 7 pocket,a place for your cell phone, travel mug, and a large shoulder strap. I sling it over the shoulder and take off. A lot cheaper than the same thing in the fishing isle.

I did a quick trip to the local trout pond a couple of days ago. I took one rod. The rest of my tackle was in my pocket. I used one jig and caught 21 trout.
I think we generally take way more tackle than we really need.
