I use them on a regular basis, and they work great, especially when nothing else will work. I use them on jig heads and thread them on, they look like minnows swimming in the water. Great for crappie and panfish. I use the two inch for crappie, and when they tear up, I save them and cut them into smaller pieces for bream.

I wanted the 2 in or 2.5 in but they only had the 3 in and 1 in. So went with the 3. Crappie like them and the bream LOVE them, but the bigger ones they had a hard time getting them all the way in their mouths to get the hook yesterday. Unless it's a green sunfish the smaller ones I would want to use for sunfish.

I never thought about that. That's a really good idea. Last pack I had, when I used them all up I put some slab sauce in with the gulp juice and threw some soft plastics in there and let them marinate. They dont absorb like the gulp minnows but it worked pretty good.

speaking of Crappie Nipples, that stuff helps me catch crappie. But I don't waste my time putting nibbles on the hook, instead I just smear some nibbles along the sides of my tube jigs, soft plastics, or gulp minnows. smear it on just like surf wax on a surfboard. that scent will draw crappie into your bait and the taste of it will make them hold on a little longer

So.... what if a person bought the gulp minnows and let the jigs he was going to fish with during the next few trips out marinate in the gulp juice (man... that sounds disgusting)... I find the gulp minnow too soft to be practical.

Why buy something if you aren’t going to use it fully? Personally I would just use Slab sauce or G sauce. It works wonders and no need to marinate.
