    Default Kinda like fall

We had a cold front come through here in central Texas that was enough to drop our lake temps by 10-15 degrees. Now at 58-62 the cooler water and shorter days has our crappie back on brush and hungry. We went out for about three hours and caught over 15. Most looked like this:

Outside air temp got to 75 degrees but the wind was howling. Tomorrow appears to be better. Stay tuned. Oh—jigs topped with minnows over brush at 24-34 feet deep with fish right at the tops.

Water temp still holding in spite of 78-80 degree air temp. Wind still blowing but at least not howling. Caught another 15, or so, and kept 10.
