    FOUND SOME FLOATING JIGS UP IN WISCONSIN.
    DOES ANYONE USE THEM AND HOW?

    I use them when spider rigging. Buy several because they break easily. Cabala's has the best price on them.

    I use them for fish near the bottom on flats or points. I use a leader attached to a barrel swivel and weight next the barrel. The bass crowd calls it a carolina rig.

    From what I understand the walleye guys use them a good bit.

    I use them with a slip sinker for walleye with very good success. I use them baited with night crawlers or live minnows.

    I started using them back in the 70's behind a walking type sinker (aka, back trolling), for bass & walleye. Bill Binkleman and Al Lindner were advocates back then, when they were editing for Fishing Facts Magazine. I still have a bunch of them somewhere. Very effective with live bait.
