I don't know of one.
I know all too well how people all have favorite jig colors. My mind now is wondering... has anybody ever listed the top SELLING colors of any crappie jig? Plastic, hair, marabou, whatever kind. I have looked for this info and it seems to not exist.
I don't know of one.
My guess is that it would be Chartreuse and various other colors in combination with Chartreuse (for plastics) .... and possibly white or grey for fur/feather/hair.

Let me know if you find such a list! Would be interesting for sure. I guarantee that chartreuse will be right up there. And for me at least, a "gray ghost" marabou horse head spin is something I just don't leave home without.

I would say colors sold would also be regional with regard to what type of water being fished.

Mine are Chartreuse (yellow or green), White, Gray, Pink, Blue
Probably similar to many others. Maybe some orange too.
Me and some fish like chartreuse/orange in different sizes.

I've posted quite a few photos of lures that caught fish of different species. Once caught using a certain lure and color(s), it's hard not to get superstitious what works in all or most situations. As usual it's all in the mind of the angler for future use and I'm no different when adding them to the list of lures in certain colors I feel I can depend on regardless the water. Black is my least favorite though I've caught many smallmouth on black double Twister grubs but have no confidence in black for panfish except marabou jigs.
The more one casts a color the more likely fish will be caught on it as long as other lure factors fall into place such as size and action. In line with that, color brightness would seem somewhat important along with contrasts within a color such as black flakes, flash/ sparkle and lamination plastics. I believe that some colors are universally good when it comes to soft plastics - many that are muted or tints not to mention even clear lures which in the water aren't clear. But important IMO is that a color catches a fish's attention long enough for a lure's action to provoke a strike. YouTube videos are perfect examples of that.
Basic color examples for me would be chartreuse with black or flash flakes, pumpkin, clear tails with black body, pearl, watermelon/pumpkin laminate, bright white, pink with dark body, watermelon with black flake, tints of color, opaque colors or a combination of the above.

You got to use it and catch fish on it to come to any conclusions, or at least see someone doing well on a certain color or a range of colors that caught fish using a particular lure. If so, was it the lure or color or both ?

if could only use 2 colors it would be chartruse or white. sometimes they will bite anything that moves including 1 oz. sinkers with a treble hook next to it.
