    Default Z Viber feedback

Looking for some reviews or opinions, good or bad, on the 1/16 Z Viber. I fish jigs mainly on offshore cover and recently purchased some of these to offer a different look. As for presentation, it appears that I can work them exactly like I do a jig.

I have them and have had success with them. Using only UL tackle I was looking for some hard baits to get down deep...say at the 20 foot mark. The weight is just a tad light for what I was wanting to do with the profile being bigger than what I like to fish. I’m all about micro baits.....but I want as small a profile as I can get. I have used them for a year now and they do catch fish. About 2 months back I found exactly what I was looking for. It is the Magbite McFly Vibration out of Japan. It weighs 3 grams....approximately 1/10 of an ounce and a very small profile. Most will not spend the money on lures out of Japan...but I will. They are about 7 bucks each....when you can find them. The rest of the world buys these things up as fast as they produce them. I was able to acquire 21 of them out of Japanese web stores. Then a friend found the Chinese knock offs at AliExpress. I ordered 25 more of them for 47 bucks.....less than 2 dollars each. They have not arrived yet but my friend got his and says they seem same as the ones sold in Japan. These micro blades catching anything that swims. Crappie and bluegill love them.....not to mention everything else. The ZVibers no doubt catch fish....it was just hard for me to keep it down on the bottom in 20 feet of water. Jigging it in say 5-10 feet for suspended fish worked great. But I wanted something to get down deep and be easier to stay down.

    Regards

Interesting bait for sure. Haven’t fished a bait like that in years. I always got them hung on the bottom but noticed that doesn’t have the treble so much better. Nice find!

The ZViber has a single hook also....which is why I got them in the first place. Im going to order some assist dual hooks to change out on the ZVibers as well as the Magbite McFly. G4Bama you may want to try some of the assist hooks on your Zviber. The few folks who follow my channel in Australia have told me the vibration baits with assist hooks rarely get hung up. I hope that will be the case. Here is a lure that comes with assist hooks. The Zviber photo is from Finesse Fishing.

Now that is totally new to me. Never seen anything like the assist hooks. Do they come that way or do you tie them on with braid or something?

I bought some from Chris Stewart to use of trout here in the 'hooch, but my hand-ties and trout magnets on the JDM Daiwa jig heads were working so well I never really gave them a chance. I wonder how they are dock shooting? Guess I'll find out next time I go.

I appreciate the feedback. I have been watching you tube videos with the Z Viber and they are popular with the ice fishing crowds. I am thinking that they should be good with my style of fishing. We will see.

Man oh man, I have a few magbite Mcfly coming from a friend in Asia and just now I ordered 15 more from your link, my wife is gonna kill me. The Z viber is on my radar for quite sometime but can seem to get myself to order one.

This is the only one I have experimented with. I need smaller blade and waiting for my feather hook to arrive.
