don't know if you can get walleye blanks but I know some folks that build some really bad boy crappie rods with walleye blanks
Im going to make a rod or buy one for brush jigging.
6 ft long or so. 1/32 oz jigs

Take a look at B n' M Sam Heaton Super Sensitive (SHSS) rod in 7' length. It will do the job.

My question is : Why such a short rod for "vertical jigging" ?? Or was that what you meant by "brush jigging" ??
I use a 10' rod when vertical jigging (Sam Heaton - soft action) ... or I could use a 9' rod (ESP - very fast action) but those are just the ones I have.
Consider BnM Sharpshooter 6.

BnM Sharpshooter would be good for jigging for a short rod. I have one and really like it.
i got within a frog hair of buying a BnM 6 foot sharpshooter and for sure if I "needed" a rod that would hammer in the 6 foot range that would be a top end choice for me .
as far as vertical jigging with a short rod length its highly possible to be better then average at ketchn crappie with a short rod , this much I know quite factually .
