Prayers sent brother. Reading your post brought back a flood of memories. My father, fishing, and hunting buddy passed 19 years ago, when I too was 42. Seems like it was last year, at most.

Everyone of us that has lost a parent, especially a father who was our mentor, share the grief you're feeling. It a hard thing to go through and there will be times when it will be harder still. I lost my father 14 years ago and he continues to pop up in my mind. Sometimes I find myself doing something and think to myself that's the way Dad would do it.
