Several have asked me how I made my transducer pole forLivescope so I made a video. I have been through many test phases, in fact upto version 3.9 the last go around. Think I have it now, thanks to Matt Xenos withWired For Crappie on Youtube.

Looks great. I'm new to live scope , where does transducer normally mount ?
Just a idea I have , if you could find a small piece of pipe( stainless, aluminum or steel) that would fit on out side of 1 1/4 pvc, then use in u - bolts on ram connection then find a washer or 1/2 inch piece of larger pvc that would slide down on 1 1/4 pvc then use stainless hose clamp on 1 1/4 pvc. That way u could raise or lower transducer with a phillips screwdriver. Just a thought. That way u wouldn't have that tension on 1 1/4 pvc.
Good thinking, BUT, I want that tension on the 1inch pipe. My other versions did not have it, so if it was windy, spot lock would take off one way and the water would turn my transducer, so I had to have one hand on the pole and one on the fishing pole. Now with the tension I can simply aim it and as long as the boat is stationary or close to it I can put both hands on the fishing pole, or even drink a beer with the free hand! haha. Additionally on my boat I do not want to leave it hooked up, so just removing it is my best bet. I have it set under the bottom of the boat so I do not have to worry about catching that on Livescope. I have a 2019 Skeeter ZX200 so I do not want that just hanging like some of the other mounts do as that boat will do 70. I do not do 70 but it will. Lastly most of the time the transducer goes on the trolling motor or a bar mounted to the motor when it is in the water. The problem you have there is if it is attached to the trolling motor you see only where your motor is aiming. hard to use spot lock and that at the same time. Then if you get the mounting bar that goes next to the motor, there seems to always be one way where your pole and motor are showing on the screen. I like the fact that you are thinking about that and it is a good thought, but I personally want that tension as when it is windy and a wave pushes my transducer when I let go and catch a fish, the other guy fishing cannot see anything without moving over and repositioning the transducer. Hope that makes sense.
