    Default Cast and retrieve jigs

Do any of you guys cast and retrieve a double jig setup? How do you tie your jigs on? The same as you would if you are vertical jigging a double rig?

The only times I have cast two jigs is when they were both very light -- like 1/64 or 1/80.

I cast double jig heads and swimbaits all the time when the bite is furious.
Use a hyper swivel and snap on the bottom and another tied 18 inches or so up...I use Palomar knots on both.

Tie your first jig on... come up about a foot and tie a small loop knot (surgeon's loop)...then come down about 2 feet and tie on your second jig. Clip this to a snap swivel that's attracted to your main line and your good to go.

The only time I've used a double rig like that is when I bobber fish with 1/32 oz. marabou jigs jut after ice out and ice up. I do cast & retrieve quite often other times as well, only with a single jig.
