    Default Toughed it out

Went last night for a few hours and fought the gnats for water space, but it definitely was worth it. Caught about 40 and selected 15 to filet and release. Probably going to try again tonight but will definitely be taking a fan. Name: 20191021_110044.jpg

Nice mess of fish. Looks like your steering wheel has an infestation going on. That's a bunch of gnats

I have seen them like that on Grenada a few times this year. They don't bite but really worrisome .

I haven't fished in that many bugs since the MN. days. it was a mess smashing them all over.

nix the cubes. I use old juice/milk bottles frozen to keep live well cold in summer. just rinse off and back in the freezer for next trip.

    nice fish too

They are in the sink waiting to be cleaned. I use the ice in the water to keep them cold until I clean them. It helps keep the ice in my outside kitchen fresh and cools the water instantly.

In MN when the Mayfly's are thick like that we troll Walleye's on shallow flats at night and do good....Nice Crappie's!
