Starfish is where I got my Huckabee Dippin rod from .... good dude !!

I have both 7' & 9' SHSS rods (Grizzly Jig) that I not only jig with, but cast and troll with as well. Matched with a Pflueger President #6920 (no need to go larger, IMO) these rods do very well. (I use braid for my main line with a 4' fluorocarbon leader for the abrasion resistance.) I never went longer than 9', but then again we fish for crappie a bit differently up here.
