    Default 3 way swivel rig.

I watch a YouTube with two guys towing crankbait with weight on bottom much like dropshot rig/drooper rig. I have used dropshot rig before and caught plenty dragging weight a long bottom. I also use floater crankbait with weight about 12” in front before to catch deeper crappies. Which one would work better for cast and reel type? With weight on bottom I can keep contact with bottom at all time, with weight between I use yo-yoing technique reel fast and let the weight drop to bottom.

I did try this 3 way swivel rig but without swivel and my lure and line tangled bad almost every cast. This the result of two treble hooks get in between unlike dropshot with only one or two regular hook.

don't think casting with in line weights or three ways would be very productive. either use sinking cranks or lure wieghts to get lure down. I have ha good luck putting a rubber core sinker on the arm of smaller safty pin spinners and connecting with deeper fish. road runners are also great for probing deep. if they are hitting cranks then they are hitting spinner type lures. most of time I just troll when finding them suspended in open water though.
