    Default Crappie and Striped bass

Do crappie and stripe co-mingle or do the stripe take over. Fished our normal brush piles in 15 to 20 FOW and every single one were full of stripe. Do the stripe run them off?

I would think a decent sized striper could make a meal out of a crappie.

In TN, what we called stripe were in fact yellow bass. Hit anything that moved and changed the fishery by their introduction. If you’re fishing piles and catch a few stripe and no crappie, it doesn’t mean they aren’t there. Stripe move quickly to a bait and hit while crappie are looking at it and deciding. I would just move to another.
