Isn't it full of dioxin and other pollutants? I know there were/are issues at the powerhouse on the border.

I never fished it but when l lived on Douglas lake l had a couple of friends who fished it quite often and caught lots of fish.
The water from the paper mill was cleaned up years ago.
I think there is only one pay ramp located near land owners house l guess but was told you need 4 wheel drive to put boat in.
I think it was located on upper in of Waterville and access from Fines creek exit off I 40.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

If l can find my friends phone number in Dandridge Tennessee l will pm you his name and phone number as he is one of the best crappie catchers in East Tennessee using a single pole and jig and fished Waterville often.
