Hogs can't catch the fish I catch. But the Raccoon and I been guilty and fished areas listed by others in the reports section expecting stellar catches like the report maker only to blank badly.

Found this spot and word got out on the net. Just kidding. This is one of the most popular spots in Erie Pa for steelheads. It gets worse as the season progresses. Not my kind of fishing.

Been there and done that. Full contact fishing is not my idea of fun. Ask me and I won't lie but I won't give you the full meal deal. I will share info but it is a big lake.

I sent a struggling angler to a favorite spot this week , he has asked me before for information .
he found me on social media , I don't really know him .
he went absent for a good while and last week asked me again to help him .
I sent him here and there and then he told me why he hadn't been around in the last few months .
Stage 4 cancer …..so every spot I sent him he still struggled and only managed 1 small crappie at 3 different lakes .
I finally said ok do EXACTLY what I am about to tell you and for sure you will ketch some slabs .
I said this time at this dock at this depth with a live minnow in the exact spot I sent you a map of and bring your ice chest .
later that day he sent me a photo of 5 real nice slabs and a large thank you ….
told me he was a very happy man ….who won in this adventure you ask
both of us for sure ….
so you see I will in fact give it up to select individuals and sometimes I don't worry about messing up a small water body with to much information .
but I wont post the kind of specifics like I gave him on any media platform
if I think you are trying in person to find fish and need help , you holler at me ….I will help
media trolling to find them makes me sad …..

I don't like being crowded when I'm fishing from the boat. But shore fishing is different. I have caught a ton of saltwater fish on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that looked exactly like this picture.

Each person must decide how they wish to share information. I have always and will continue to share information to those who ask or who I see have a problem with catching. That includes where I have caught fish over the past week as there are always more places to fish and finding new "honey holes" is part of the fun for me.
