Default The Best Trip Of The Year / Pics

This mornings foggy trip was the best of the year. One of the best ever. It was very foogy but warm. Water temps have cooled to about 54 degrees. I had to use the GPS getting to the spot. We boated 130 and released them all. The largest was 16 but we guess about 50 were 14 to 15. No wind and fog and clouds all the time. Most bigger fish were suspended and feeding nicly. As you get older these days are fewer and may we continue to be able to do this. We had many nice doubles.Name: IMG_0149.jpg

No words to describe those. Those are beautiful and would make some great calendar pictures. Would be nice to frame and put on the wall also.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

    Most excellent, Bee !!

I'm curious, too, as to what jig body is shown in your pics ... they look a lot like a Slabanator Hot Rod Mini (1.75" "carrot" shaped plastics).

Berkly Smelt bit in half and slid on a VMC Pug Bug.

Awesome pictures and beautiful fish !! I would have to definitely say that'd be one my best days ever too, that's a lot of fish and big ones !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
