Wow ! you guys are good....I was on the road coming back from the Crappie Expo in Hot Springs AR and didnt give you guys any hints. But yep a lot of you got it right. It was Buck Perry and the Spoonplug lure. Buck is still active and fishes often. he has a website and still sells these lures through many dealers.
I hope you enjoyed todays fishing trivia.....see you next monday.

Sorry to tell you but Buck Perry died on aug. 12 2005.

I think he even wrote a book years ago on the subject of trolling spoon plugs. One of the first to coin the phrase structure fishing.
