Default Would you kill some poor innocent fish ?

The answer is a question as well ........are you hungry ?
So i hit a little fishing dock i like while my bud hog hunted the other day in the afternoon .
The wind was howling to be sure and the ketchn was real tough for both of us .
He lost the hog he shot and i struggled to ketch fish to eat .
Anyway in the end i prevailed to some degree ketchn a few for dinner and he managed to get off 2 shots at some hogs . One group was running and way out there and he likely didn't hit one of them from what i heard . The other slower hog was a boar and he knocked it down and it got up and we never found a sign of it again .
bought ran over deer in the road twice and saw lots of deer at my place and running around on the road .
So we worked on a new feed area we are setting up just for deer with hog panels around it and came on back to town .
Filleted said innocent fish and baked them and ate them with a twice baked potato and a cucumber sort of salad with a nice cool drink last night .
So am i guilty , i guess kinda yes
the sunset in west Texas was about all that if you are wondering .
and yes i think the black boar on the game camera is the hog that got away
    KABOOM is the word yawl
p.s. AND YET AGAIN i was stopped by a complete stranger at the fence supply place who had to tell me how kewl my tshirt was mister Slab …..

the BACON my friend is INSIDE the potato …..i loaded up the re stuffing with about a ton of crumbled bacon bits ...you see a twice baked potato is about boring as heck if it aint loaded up with apple wood smoked bacon bits …..
and of course the cheese and mushrooms and other etc etc didn't hurt it none either ….or at least that's my take on it

Eating animals is part of life. Them crappie are treated better in my cooler ice bath than getting gobbled up by a largemouth or a catfish.

Nice crappie and bacon on the hoof. I pet the crappie I catch. After I get my belly full of them I set back and pat them and rub the old belly.
Be safe and good luck fishing
