    Lol. Thats what I told my buddy...they were swimming upside down. On another note, we all know that crappie only feed up

    I catch most of my crappie hooked in the lip. I prefer that instead of hooking deeper in the throat due to the ease of hook removal. I don't mind those I lose. I find I don't lose them if I am slower in bringing them into the boat instead of horsing them out of the water. I also don't try to tear their heads off with a hook set.

    Tru-turn hooks are good if you are fishing with live bait. I used them fishing the Gulf Coast until circle hooks become the law.
