Nice mess of crappie! Thanks for the heads up, just picked up some of those this week, think in a gray color as I recall. Haven't tried them yet, but I will with this killer 9ft crappie combo I just snagged.

I found only two packs of the STS-1 at my WM, will have to head to some more stores for a supply probably. Thanks for the info.

I have not tried the Arkie sexy Shad but do use the Bobby Garlands when rigging these on a light jig 1/32 ( on number 6 hook ) when hooked just right when they sink they will give a slow rock from side to side as they sink. Catch a bunch of Crappies on the Garlands may have to try the Sexy Shad and compare the two.

Great read and info as always Ketchen. Nice fish too. I been using Arkie bodies for a while. I won a pack of jig bodies, tubes I believe, a while back here on Crappie.Com. Started with them and expanded a bit. My only complaint was seams every Walmart carried the exact same colors and not a complete selection. Now they've went and added more colors so I'm back looking again.
