She insisted on going. She had a thick down jacket, insulated bibs, and insulated boots. I believe she was warmer than me

When we first married my wife did not like to fish. After I taught her how to catch instead of just fish she loved fishing. She would have shot me had I tried to go fishing without her.

But I loved having her fishing with me, on the boat, the fish barge of the slips. It made every trip more enjoyable, seeing her enjoying herself, fishing beside me.

Mine loves to be on the boat and the dock and wetting a line. She does all her own baiting, taking fish off and tieing on her own jigs and lurers. Heck, most days she out catches me!
The plus is she smells and looks way better then my buddies in the boat and she always brings snacks and cold drinks!!
Another plus... Sure doesn't fart and pee all over the back of the boat like my buddies sometimes do!?Name: IMG_20190906_203939.jpg

My wife and daughter both love to go with me. Both know how to fish but would rather just be in the boat reading or facebooking texting or whatever the format they do. On some special occasions or my incredible yelling of excitement, they will occasionally net one for me.

I like to fish, my wife LOVES to fish. Therefore I fish because I take my wife fishing. I have no complaints.

Not an issue for me. 39 years with my wife and she’s been in any of my boats less than 10 times. Doesn’t swim and afraid of the water in a bad way. She won’t tell me I can’t go but she won’t go along. I try but to no avail. Makes it easy to get out of the house when it’s time to go too.
