Default Looking For LiveScope Mounting Advice

Finishing out a new boat. installing a MinnKota Ultrex and pairing with a Helix Gen 3. Am also going to install a Garmin 1042 xsv and LiveScope. Looking for opinions on whether to mount the LiveScope transducer on the Ultrex shaft or set up an independent mounting arm. I will use this setup if fishing brushpiles or spiderrigging. Appreciate any thoughts.

I have the same set up as you. Got the Poleducer from Shut up and Fish. Not crazy about it.

I’d PM Rickie and check on his transducer mount on his separate mount.

I have tried with and without a pole. Right now I have it back on the troller. If you are one who wants to see every hit and watch the lure constantly put it on a seperate pole. I like having the control with my foot though.

Forgot to mention that I also use a Terrova when pulling jigs or crankbaits so the trolling motors are mounted on quick change plates. With that stated it looks like it might be easier to have it on the independent mount if I wanted to pull it off if not using it. I looked at the Poleducer and it looks like a good concept. Is there any other independent devices out there to consider? Appreciate everyone's thoughts.

I have a similar rig with Helix 10 on top and Garmin 8610xsv under. Cable saver on Ulterra for the Helix and Rickie’s DaDucer for a separate mount on the LiveScope transducer. Spot lock can do whatever it wants but the Da Ducer keeps the view on brush loaded with fish locked on.

I had this on my old Tracker when I was running a Terrova.

thanks Lowe Rider. Went to the Fishing Specialties website to look through their information. The new boat that I am finishing is a War Eagle Blackhawk 2170 and it looks like they have a bracket that is made to hang on the integrated rail system on the boat. I will contact them tomorrow to find out if they know anyone in the St Charles MO area that I could have the opportunity to see one. Thanks for the info.

Anyone know if these various mounts will stow the pole along the boat gunnell?
Looks like a trip hazard if not.

    Thanks

Fishing spec. sends a gunnel mount. Works great, the exception is the cable to transducer. I installed a S hook under the gunnel, to hang it out of the way.
