Jig head mold selection
Too many really good looking jig head molds out there, but I must choose 1. Same ole story of champagne taste on a beer income. I am leaning toward the do it mold round head jig mold with no collar but I also like the same jig mold with the wire keeper for plastics. I don’t do any hand ties now but want to start playing around with it. My thoughts are that with the keeper style I could either mold without it or even trim it off with a pair of pliers, or would the keeper even be an impediment to hand ties? I like both but can only get one. Thoughts or opinions sought for.

I have tried several my self with plastics and I like the no collar round head better than any ! The collarless doesn’t tare the baits like the others !

I enjoy pouring jigs when I have time. I now have 1/64, 1/80 and 1/100 oz molds.
If any of you want to try out some tiny jigs, I will send you some free.
I don't sell any.... just pour them to use myself.

I had friend tell me ( I have not tried it yet ) on the collarless jig if you put a couple wraps of thread down the hook shank, It will hold the plastic pretty good.
