    Hi
Who has a livescope and what fish finder are you using?
    Happy with both?

    Thanks

I was with a guide night fishing last week that using one. We set up front and fished off the live scope. It’s like playing a video game dropping the jig into the fish. Caught 40. I’m a 360 man before this.

I've fished with a member (slabeye) that has one ... and seeing the fish before you get on top of them is pretty cool. Seeing them come up and hit the bait is awesome. Seeing them come up to the bait & then turn and go back down to where they were .... not so awesome ... but, without it one might think there were no fish in that spot and keep moving on (without trying other baits/methods).

Now, we were Pushing jigs at the time, but he's used it casting to submerged timber & learned a few things about their behavior (especially when one in the school gets caught).

I am running a 1222xsv non touch with it. I have caught a lot of fish this season that I would have not even cast to because of the scope. Seeing the mood of the fish, i think is scopes biggest asset.

I have it and use it to fish for crappie. I like it but I should have bought a more expensive display unit with it. I have the 93 sv + and I can't see fish come up and take the jig the way some state they can. I have found the best use for it is determining whether a structure holds fish. Then it is up to you to convince them to strike.

I've had a Livescope for around 7 months or so. Love it, best thing since sliced bread for crappie fishing IMO. I started out with an Echomap 93sv plus and then upgraded to an Echomap Ultra 1222. Best decision I've made in buying electronics, unbelievable unit and system.

Have a Helix 10 on top for DI and Nav. Garmin 8610xsv under it for LiveScope. Do not spend time on brush that does not show fish. Allows us to see the fishes reaction so if no bite color and size change often change their mind. Absolutely changed our way we fish for the better.

I love mine with a 94 SV, To me watching fish in the water is cool, but--Real time view and distance to the prey is awesome. I have gone back to cast and retrieve a lot more now. In bottom scan you can watch the fish run from your boat. That is my feelings.
P.S I use side view to find tree tops and such, Then the live view takes over. IE Distance, structure view and IF fish are present.
