I will agree scrat. just being outdoors with mother nature is good. Fish in the pan is great. Went back today, same bridge. had lots of bits, but they were crafty little dicken. Two jigs one pole, about 6 " apart. dipped tail and added nibble. they would steal the nibble so gently it was difficult to feel and they never took the hook...go figure. sorry folks, no pic's today...

Just took a 2 hour dust bath while cutting the grass. I have to work overtime both days this weekend. But will be off next weekend. I will be in the boat both mornings.
:I would like to thank the builders of docks for giving me a place to fish and lose tackle

If those nibbles are fresh out of the jar ... a minnow sized fish can snatch them off in a split second. You need to let them dry out a bit, first (on or off the hook). Or if you happen to be using hollow tube baits, they can be stuffed inside the tube and the scent trail will still be there, though somewhat diminished. That may also present the bait as the main factor, rather than the colored lump riding along.

Thanks CP. I remembered that about 2hrs into the outing...DSJ, thier are times when I am glad I have a small yard. I takes me about 20 minuets to cut my yard with a 20 inch power mower. However there are more tmes when I wished My neighbors were way down the road...not 30 feet on each side of me. Still better than an apartment building...
