Default My solution of not become boredom!!!!

So I i posted a few days back about fishing from same spot over and over. I think I found a solution just for now. I’ve tried different bait every trip and also different setup. I normally fish only hour or two until no light, I’ll only bring one lure but sometimes 2-3 different setup. I try to find what the best retrieving, weight and depth of each bait. I don’t care much about quantity since I know for sure I can catch them every time with stinger shad.
I think I have a few more different bait and color to try. If you guys wanna recommend my any others bait please do so.

Great Pics for sure catching fish on a variety of colors. Congrats. Though My Parents lived near there in their later years Due to obligations for me with the military I never got a chance to fish canyon lake. Nor did I get to fish Lake Elsinore when my mom lived across the road from the lake on the North side of it after my dad Passed. Uncle SAM kept me on the opposite side of the world...good luck on your quest.

Anytime when you come back and around Canyon Lake, I’ll gladly fish with you anytime and thanks for your service.
Anyway some of the lure show here is not as easy as it looks in picture. Some of them I had to take two or more trips to catch one. The only stable bait that would catch fish anytime are stingers shad and tube. I have a few color of grubs type that I’m gonna try next.

Very nicely done. Your theory of using only a few different baits and varying presentations will no doubt make you a better fisherman in the long run.

I've always wanted to try just a few lures like you but never had the confidence. Great job and thanks.

Almost caught my first crappie today with crankbait (Rapala countdown) too bad it came off before I can take a picture. Anyway it was a pretty good evening, caught about 10, on 1/32oz Arkie solid tube jig.
Have anyone tried Magnet Trout Slayer? Thinking of getting the kits so I can try 1/64oz jig head.

Anyhow here the pic, I hope you guys don’t mind if I’m gonna use this thread to show of my catch lol.

Thank you for the invite Just_Bass. IF I ever make it back out thier I will Take you up on that for sure. I like your Approach of just a few lures at a time. I need to scale back what Itake with me. Sometimes it's just too much. I love that pic. Good colored jig and nice looking fish. Thank you for sharing...
