The power of prayer.
I spent this week end at Manresa Retreat House in Convent La. When we got there on Thursday evening the news on the hurricane wasn't good. It was predicted to hit the central Florida coast as a cat 4 storm and maybe even cross into the Gulf. At each gathering during the days we offered prayers for the storm to change track. As the hours and days passed each update showed the storm changing course to where now it will only graze the coast line. It will still be bad but nothing like a storm crossing the state like Andrew did and wiped Homestead clean off the map. Our God is Great.

Make sure you push the insurance company to pay to have an electrician come and check every joint, switch and outlet to make sure all are still tight and secure. You certainly don't want a fire several months down the road due to lightning.
