the ole proverbial pointer turtle …..
few if any I thought remember the pointer turtle days .
I have a new pointer turtle now ,its a 1 year old red ear slider .
but this one has been some kinda hard to train , its really nervous and jumpy and sends out all kinds a mixed signals
the fine lost art of training a turtle to point you in the right direction is something few if any will ever know
and of course you realize that there was quite a following of folks back then who thought all my turtles really did send me off to find crappie ….
I was amazed at how many took me serious on the pointer turtle training thing .
it sure was fun though and the new red ear is actually only hanging around as a rescue .
my other half wants to keep it for my grandson but I told her by the time he is big enough to be interested in turtles ,
it will be to large to keep easily .
let there be no doubt about this one thing , when I take it terribly serious on ketchn things it goes south for me .
I need a grin and a laugh as do most and to be sure you need a filter to hang around me .
a fine filter I might just add , because all to often folks think I am serious when I am kidding around .
